Similar idea as the last ones.
However, I have had it with them being spammed. First rule:
Anyone posting a single non-vital post will get their posting rights revoked for a week. This is no joke people, evidently some of you can't control yourselves so that means we have to.
Second: If at all possible, I'd prefer that project leads gave a full list of people who need access and avatars, this is especially important with the current crop of missing avatars. It is much easier to get one list to fix than have everyone with a missing avatar post once over the span of three weeks.
Third: On the topic of FTP access, it is just a mess and is inefficient. In all future FTP requests I will only accept emails from project leads, again, a single email with a list is easier than waiting for everyone to straggle in. It shows that the projects have organized themselves. I can simply attach the relevant information and forward it to Gamespy, instead of having to run around and find out if I have everyone. Note that at the time of this posting, I am still unsure if the Gamespy guy who handles FTP requests has returned from his family emergency, I have to email them to find out.
Three-B: When getting FTP info from your staffers/staffers to be, be sure to find out if they have access to any other folders, and if so, be sure to include this information.
Hopefully all this will mean things will be much smoother and less annoying for the staff.
Oh, and as a further note, because some people were abusing them, I've disabled attachments in this forum.
Edit: This is not a thread for spurious requests like custom title changes. Our SOP has not changed, custom titles are given to you, not chosen by you unless you are really lucky.
