I think a ship this size needs a lot of power to work. LIke maybe a freakin' big warp core or some nuclear power plant bigger than any the biggest nuclea reactor plant.

Nah, he said it was only 500m long (about 50% larger than today's aircraft carriers). I think nuclear reactors would be standard issue by then considering that we're already sticking em in our subs and carriers.

I don't think any existing game engine could handle this in its current form. You'd have to get rid of all the tiny details, and get the poly count down from the millions to the thousands to get it to run smoothly on anything short of a supercomputer. It's an incredible model, though, and it'll be unbelievable when it gets textured.

The name sucks, though...

Great ship!
It reminds me of Homeworld... seems to resemble the higaran battlecruiser and the back part seems similar to the Cataclysm's Dreadnought.

Yeah, well.

I was cruising Scifi-Meshes and found Styxx latest creation.....which I can't remember what it was/is. And I got to looking at his profile and old threads and found this thing.

Turns out he was working on it till June or some **** over at SFM.
