But oh well, Israel is an old country. Not to talk about Babylon. Geez did you know they had schools at that time and it was more than like 10000 years ago. :eek2: And what is that legend about the tower of babel all about?

The Tower of babel was the tower that the (insert whoever I forget they were here) vainly attempted to build a tower to heaven.

God in his holy boredom, thought that this was blasphemous and used his godly magic powers to make everyone speak in different tongues, thus they couldn't understand eachother while trying to construct the building and got angry and quit.

I'm proud to be Croatian...but then again, I would be proud if I were a German, American, or someoen else too.....

I consider myself citizen of the world... States are unimportant..
They were invented by humans to better control the population... It is easyer to control a mass of people if you convice them that they are "special"..."different"..."better".....and crap like that...

So I say...To hell with all the states.... down with all the borders...one people..one uber-state...:ha:

Born in the US of A in '78
Lived in Florida until age 10
Lived in Israel ever since.

And yeah, there are a lot of old civilizations that have walked the earth... Israel's the only one to have risen again in modern times... unless I missed the formation of the URB (United Republic of Babylon). :p

Exactly, older civilizations will only be respected today if they still have the power that they used to have. If the rest of the world leaves them behind, nobody cares about their old age anymore. How about monkeys, for example? They are probably a much older civilization than all the ones mentioned here, so they deserve some respect, right? :D

Anyway, on the subject of flags, I always found those three-strip flags a bit boring. I like the more original flags; the Saudi and Sri Lankan ones are good. :yes:

One interesting thing is that some nations seem to actually have the exact same flags. I think Ireland and Italy are one such case.
