well from the links you gave:

Swastika has nothing to do with Christ and with Christianism. It is a Buddhist symbol for peace, as it still appears nowadays on Buddhist temples in Asia. I have seen one in a bi-lingual edition of a Taiwanese magazine. The editors felt the necessity of explaining in the English text that Swastika is a Buddhist symbol of peace, and this is why the puzzled European reader could see it in pictures showing temples.

The swastika is not only from buddhism. The Celts and Greeks used it too, as did the ancient people of the middle east. You can find the thing everywhere to be honest.

seems that both indian culture and germanic culture got the symbol, probably from the same source (some other older culture)... so it's not surprising to see it in buddhism or used by germanic culture (nazis are an extension of that).
