I have perfect eyesight. I'm pretty short. I love jets.

I'm applying for the fleet air arm as soon as I can get my bank manager to sort his life out

Venom, lower = better :D :p

Anyways, when I was in my mom's womb, I would kick whenever we went on a plane, then, in the later years, I went on an open-cockpit biplnae almost every birthday for about birthday for about 4 years, flew my first plane at around 11, then started training for my liscence at 13., so I have a head start :D, I'm a medium height, in good physical condition (just don't have a high endurance, but it's acceptable)

Hey, something's been bugging me for awhile now: does the US Navy/Air Force not allow nose art anymore?

I'm just curious, as I never see any....

Ever see pictures of the A-10?
I think its more tail art now though... some of those squadron logos are pretty spiffy...

No, I mean personal art on a plane that's still on active duty, not squadron art.

My brother was joining the RAF, he went through all the physicals and exams and stuff, passed them all but when it came to the "your in just sign here" bit he decided to drop it and do it again after he had "lived his life"

So he went ski repping in italy for 4 months, then went around the world for 6, came home went back to italy to ski for anouther 3, now hes living in tokyo teaching english, come home arouund christmas, but then leaves again to move out to italy to manage a resort ...

As you can tell i havnt seen much of my brother lately :D

And now for the brits around here, any one remeber "Harrys Mad" a childrens program on ITV some years ago about a talking parrot, the main character (Harry) was played by my brotherm hes done some other actingas well, along with a dany davito(sp?) film, dont remember the name, Yes he is loaded the little ***** :doubt:

I was going to join the RAF to be a pilot, aircraft being one of my favourite things. But something fubared my eyesight, so im slightly shortsighted. Which means im either going to join the Royal Armoured Corps, or the police.

I've never had an eye test, so I don't know how good my eyesight actually is, but I assume it to be very good. I just have the problems with bright lights, and terrible hayfever/rhinitis, which means a lot the time my eyes are completely ****ed up.

Well of course it depends on a lot of things (weather, allergies, sleep) but the best I've been able to do is 7 flat, which isn't too fast considering. I don't get a lot of practice though, so i've probably gotten worse since the 3 months ago I go that.
