Bob, he didn't get it in two fucking pages of text, I think he's a goner. It was a nice summary, though.

You blew up the frog, took pictures, and thought it would be amusing to post them.

Stryke is calling you an idiot for doing so.

Which is less civilized?

God, you're an idiot.  How can you not see this?

Erm, but many people routinely kill bacteria.... only in a superficial attempt to clean yourself (i.e. using so-called antibacterial soap which doesn't actually do what it's supposed to) when in fact it's un-necessary. I don't see people labling all antibacterial soap users as inhumane. I fail to see how bacteria are any less deserving of your sympathy than frogs :p

Next time you get joy out of killing all those bacteria, wash simply to massacre millions, and then joyfully show off a microscope image of thousands of lysed cells like you deserve an award from it, I'll tell you. And then fucking beat the stupid out of you with a 2x4. But until that point, you're at least recognizably human.

The fact that he enjoyed it only shows the state of his own mentality and doesn't really make the act itself better or worse and so the act rests at an equal level with the bacteria thing. I take it you're complaining about his mentality and since I don't really care about that side of the issue I won't argue against you....

it's not the fact that he killed a frog,
hell even killing the thing in some sadistic manner just to please himself I would alow without saying anything,
but to post it and expect me and everyone else to get off on it too, and then defend his actions, is what I can not stand about this.
he is like some little kid who kills a bug becase he thinks it's fun to wach the guts and then shows it off to everyone, I always hated those kids.

Joey: I'm not gonna call you an idiot, cause Stryke already did plenty of that. But I really would like you to ask yourself, what gives you the right to kill a living thing with no purpose in mind other than your own amusement.

If a frog is ok, why not a squirell? And if a squirell is ok, why not a cat? And if a cat is ok why not a dog? See where I'm going? It pretty arrogant of you to claim that you have the right to kill anything, even a frog? Who gave you that right? I'm pretty sure a lion could kill you just as easily, but if it did I'm sure you wouldnt think its ok....

Realy man, just find different ways to entertain yourself that do not involve killing things. If you cannot, please call your local mental health organization, and check yourself in under the fact that you are a psychopath. I'm not just randomly insulting you, its what the actual condition is. If you cannot place value on life, even the life of a frog, then you are a psychopath, plain and simple

Assuming that you have the right to kill a frog just because you are smarter and stronger is very stupid. As I've said, if a frog, why not a dog, or for that matter why not mentally retarded person? They dont appear to be too smart, and they're pretty weak? If you want to go destroy things, like for exampe rocks, I say go ahead. But living things are another matter

Peace out

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill
