yes one could use the UT's story as a basis and the hero/heroine would be a new forum member who is suddenly involved in a huge war in the HLP.

not a open war at first, just people disappearing and stuff, the war would come later......

Is there somewhere I can read it, UT? (I'd search, but I'm lazy! :D ) I've missed pretty much all this up to now, but I've got a summer full of yawning emptiness ahead (and not enough money to do fun stuff - ie get drunk, sit in the lovely Welsh weather and buy stuff:() , so I'd like something to do! I can help with writing/embellishing/making up stuff if needed...:)

well, here's an idea...why not have our cake and eat it too eh?;)

UT: you could write a story that's completely separate to the one you've been writing recently(and it's good too, believe me) but somehow ties-in with everything here?

is there merit in that idea? it keeps originality yet makes setting the basis for the story somewhat easier...

say for example: during the chaos caused by the conflict, opportunistic forces try to wrest control from both parties involved.. you know, where the hero tries to stop a even more powerhungry third party from destroying the hlpbb and everything else with it...

would something like that work?
