Its a battle with the sathanas and collosus from far away, I'm not sure which mission though.  Really cool lighting effects

A couple of shots from the FS Campaign with the newest open build.  Shows off specular and glowmaps (by the way, what ever happened to the glow maps standing out in the nebulas?  I thought that was extremely cool)  I would have more, but FS2 doesn't seem to like nebula missions so well in the current build.

Some great stuff here. Those Inferno and Mindgames explosions are particularly nice.

Karajorma, did you change the color of the existing one for that shockwave or render a new one entirely from scratch? It looks much better than the original at any rate.

Those shockwaves were done by me. I rendered them in LW and converted to 8-bit in PSP. We also have new explosions, but we'll see if we want to show them to you

Im a 56K'er Even at 3Kbs, it loads in about 1 minute, which is no problem if you take your time looking at the pics...

Since CF isn't around to defend himself looks like it's up to me to put that rather nasty accusation to bed.

On the left is the version on the OTT site. On the right is the MG version







CF contacted me the second that the OTT version was released to say that he was surprised how much they looked like his. I believe he may have got the original effect from some Lightwave source but I'd have to check with him first.

I never acused him. Just wonderd and even if he did use it, i put it up for download it aint a secrect anyone who wants to use it can do so. I did mention in the OTT forums i made it from a Tutorial site. As i didn't know how to morph objects at that time.

Well I suppose it's an easy enough mistake to make.

We've been very careful at MG about the stuff we did use. In fact we contacted most of the creators of publicly released mods before we used them just to double check

hehe...good thing, but i think if they released something for the public to use they always mention "just give credit" then most of the time your save, but i agree double checks are good:D

This won't really fit here it's more an SCP stuff, but I guess I could mention it here too.

The main difference as I see it is that the OT explosion is rotated.

Now wouldn't it be better if all explosions were tilted by a random ammount? (or there would be both normal and tilted ones)
