I've been having trouble with some campaigns recently. Whenever i try to run LM or Dues Ex Machina, the orion destroyers or larger vessels turn up as that basic fighter.

In LM i tried to copy/paste the new ship stuff into the ships.tbl file using wordpad, but it didnt make a difference. Now when i run DEM i get the same problem as in LM. Is the ships.tbl file corrupted in this case, not allowing the Orion class destroyers to appear at all? or is this some problem with the campaigns' .vp files?

You did seperate the LM Vp from the DEM one, right?

I used to get that too, it only likes to have one VP besides the root one with tbl files being read...
