no, in ten years time we won't need a 'a decade ago' box; in ten years time, hlp will have taken over the universe and poor kids in school will have to learn about its humble beginnings and how it managed to conquer everyone else.

I have doubt FreeSpace would survive even three more years. :doubt:

By ten years time I wonder how much of this will all be related to FS at all. The truth is, though, that HL is the biggest forum by a long-shot, and there is hardly any FS discussion in here. While I believe that FS still has quite some time left in it - maybe not in the form that it is now, but the universe itself has a lot of potential - I think the best thing about HLP is the atmosphere, which is a result of the consistency of the members to be helpful, skilled (after an amount of HLP 'exposure'), enthusiastic, and fun-loving. That stays, HLP stays. :nod:

The only reason(s) I see HLP dieing or no longer really doing FreeSpace modding, is if we *gasp* get real lives (think TCO only more extream, not that getting married and possibly raising a family is a bad thing TCO).

Can you guy's see yourselves acting like guy's do with football our someother sport? I.E. one of us talk/teaching or sons/daughters about FS modding? :sigh: Such happy thoughts. :nod:
