The first time I was playing it, it was like 11:30 and I was getting tired, I nearly fainted of a heart attack when the call came.

The second time I tried flying out of its path towards my wingmen. I collided and was trampled.

The third time I cheated and turned a 180 and flew beyond the portal. It worked like a charm.

I pulled up first - for God only knows what reason -  then slammed my ship down and scraped past the Sathanas by the skin of my teeth.
