No offense, but these look like they would be better served as the blob of energy around the base of beam.

hmm, the glows seem a little too weak and... purple. I think they'd look better if they were more blue and thicker, the trails seem perfect though

Good for beams.

Bad for thrusters.

Sexy looking from a non-fs standpoint, though

Awesome. Not that much like you woud expect from fs2; but hey, we're devloping a new engine, why not put in some 21st century graphics?

I'm all for making it look like fs2 was pulled out of one of Setekh's renders.

I just updated the graphics, they should look moe like an improvement on the origonal, be sure to extract all of them becase I only added #3 glows (#1 and 2 are exactly the same), and trail01 and 02 should now be usable if you want to give them a shot

Well, since we can use different Engine Glows for different races, theres a whole world of possibilities opened

better yet, a possible glow around those blobs of green balls the orions use to shoot at the shivan ships many moons ago...

i was watching the Fs1 intro and this effect is on all the fighters.....

thruster trails arnt.... hmmmmmm....

BTW look at the Lucy's warp effect in the intro/endgame
