I don't have the money to bring it to a repair shop for that. Also both Freesapces work fine. I just want to figure out how to get avp1 to work for now, and the rest after.

Without any emulators? Usually no and never. One exception to that was Star Control 2. As long as the no sound parameter was set, it would work perfectly in any version of Windows I have tried it on (ME, 98, 2000, and XP). It was wierd because it was a DOS only program.

I have never had any problems setting up or running FS1 or FS2 on Windows 2000 or XP. Didn't have to mess around with any compatibility things either.

Listen Admiral, if it works for you, then fine.  My FS1 worked fine but my fs2, I ordered, didn't work.  Many people won't know what I talking about, but I have heard people around with the same problem. And XP came out with ALOT of problems, so i'm just saying there could be something blocking the compatibility efforts on XP.  IM glad fs2 and 1 works for you!  Congratulations!!!:hopping:

yeah, some people has a problem with getting fs2 running on xp, can't say I'm one of them tho. neither do I know why.

I have gotten AvP1 to work. If you have xp update the binkw32.dll in the AvP directory. The 168k file worked for me. There are different sized ones. Now I just need to find the solution to other games.
