I don't like the Amritaya much either, would look nicer with a greater tiling factor on the textures.

I think the main yuk point about the Amritaya (Yey i spelt it right!) is its spikiness, it looks like some demonic porcupine. Also, the fighterbay looks a little too low for my taste.

I think the best option for the Amritaya is for a member of the Inferno team to take it, rip off all the spikes to just leave the basic shape, raise the fighterbay slightly, then just start adding some spikes in places where they would benefit the model.
