The one I bought was the Game of the Year addition and it has *thinks*  The templar missions (I think) which is a Vasudan campaign...

The one thing I've never understood...

A single-player campaign with over 30 missions. New scenarios include flying with Vasudan squadrons, piloting advanced stealth fighters, and "painting" targets with TAG (Target Acquisition & Guidance) missiles.

Since when has anyone EVER cared about the TAG missiles? Nobody likes them, and they do no good. It's always mystefied me as to why Interplay advertises that as a highlight of the game...

I remember playing a nebula mission which used the TAG in an EMP nebula. The mission was a lot of fun because of that. Unfortunately I can't remember which campaign it was from.

It was from the original campaign.  You had to fly the bat in a test of the TAG missiles when shivans attack in that nebula.  At least I think it was like that.

Yeah. For one mission. Completely not highlightable, and after you used the TAG-a in that mission they came out with the TAG-b and TAG-c which were useless.

And that is what the mission was...the one where the scout comes back and is freaking out because there are so many Shivans coming.

Well, I just placed my order for one, as my copy of FS2 is only the CD's and the jewl case I got at EB for five bucks, and the discs are in less than perfect condition.

I for one, think that this re-relase is a great thing, for reasons like mine. I have spent years and years and years looking for a copy of the game, and I really didnt feel like paying 70+ bucks for the game on Ebay, so I had to resort to scrounging the EB's and other local game stores for my copy, and I found it, however lacking it is. Now I have a chance to get a full copy of the game, with all its manual and extra goodness. Hell, this thing even has 20 bonus missions! Atleast thats what the box says...... Maybe it is the OEM set that deals with the Collossus? That'd be sweeeet. Hopefully they release those missions as a download later for those of you who arent buying it this time around.

Um, yep.  the one where you have to TAG a Typhons' weapons sytems in low orbit around the Upuaat gas giant.  Don't think i was ever 100% happy with that one, natch.

Umm. No. Not the mission I was thinking of. This one was in a full EMP nebula and you had to tag an installation so that a nearby capship could fire its main guns at it.

IIRC I offered to play test it for the author but I don't remember if it was ever released. It was from a couple of years back. If it wasn't released it would be a real pity cause the missions I played were pretty inventive.
