actually no.
Some UN Treaty states that space can't be owned, that includes planets and moons. So in theory bo one can own Mars, or any other celestial body.

Practically any celestial body can/will be owned by those who can get there and stay there (i.e. a permanent base). And even then they won't be able to prevent others from taking possession of parts of for example the Moon via the same means.

since the Arab world has a GNP smaller than that of Spain I don't see them actually being able to make any kind of effort to owning some real estate in space.

So, no lawsuit of that kind is going to set space-exploration back.
It came from outer space! What? Dunno, but it's going back on the next flight!
