nope. The evil loki was, how could it else be, cheets, and the helios was some dumb AI ship when I replayed the main campaign

Nah. Anyone can put someone on their buddy list whether they play the game or not.

You just haven't really experienced Freespace until you've had Snipes yelling at you to dodge that oncoming Sath. It is, afterall, the most well known, often repeated, and memorable quote in either game.
