I'm always amused that these things actually exist.... it's so stupid that there's a temptation it's just an internet myth.  I encourage everyone to send bollocks mail in response to that address.  Also notice that, now it is on a web page, that email address with quickly be picked up by spam-address-finding-webspiders.

Oh, yeah, and the to and from files of the email were identical addresses.  If you're going to try & do this sort of scam, you could at least try and make that part make sense.

oddly enough, I got something similar just the day before yesterday, although it wasn't the nigerian scam, but a hong kong version of it:

the odd thing is that people are still going for it. read quite recently in a comp newspaper about this 70+-year-old killing the nigerian ambassador of his country because he lost all his saving after falling for a nigerian scam letter.

there will always be someone gullible enough to fall for it, and it is getting more "believable" however farfetched that sounds.

I was asked to join a pyramid scam yesterday (yay for "network marketing" ). Freaky thing is that so many people buy into it.

And of course, reply and wreak havoc. Insult and accuse them of different crimes. Post fraud e-mails, claiming that some third party became interested and you gave all of your money to him.
