I'm quite lost what you mean.

not exactly sure what that means, but you see the red star in the second one and how the Red is pretty much the background and then the lucifer from that angle it blocks the sun and now shows the blackness of the background.
Ribos is a red star system so there for the light you see in the background is red

that ray effect probably will never be implemented, at least not in the near future

Also, it would only apply when its in some kind of semi-opaque nebula (or recorded with a low quality camera).

well thats alright but what are we going to do with those stars? how so we fix them up?

Is the code freeze that deal about freespace 2 coming out again??  If it is wouldn't you think it's over by now?? I mean its not like Volition has internet spies or something:D

yes, but BUGS are evil. If we dont fix them now, they will increase exponentially.

So..  freeeeeze untill it's running stable enough to allow new bugs (i.e. features) to be introduced.
