Yeah AVP was a book first, then made into a Comic Book series. Or viceversa. Dont remember. Anyway, they were good, and I heard the guys who are making it are all AVP nuts, some my fingers are crossed. I just dont want another Lara Croft crap or Aliens 4. *shudder* tho the director did direct Resident Evil wasnt it? And I didn't like it very much, however it was filmed rather well, and every director has a bad day. So I'll give him another chance. Gore Verbinski did The Mexican after all. And then he did the Ring AND Pirates of the Carribean.
As for a game to movie. Hmm... Theres been no decent movie made of a FPS really. So either Half Life or Halo. I wouldn't want to see Metal Gear Solid be made into a movie though. It would get raped. Seriously raped. They'd lower the violence to the market audience, get Tom Cruise to be Solid, give him a mullet and pritty much redo the whole mission impossible spiel. Let
make an entire new story that makes no sense and keep it marketable so they can make more nonsense sequels. bah.
