As for the Comanche, 8 billion dollars later, I guess they figured out helicopters are useless. They get shot down too easily and frequently. Too bad though, now the Russians have no reason to build to Black Ghost, which was supposed to be their equivalent of the Comanche.
They should focus on jets, anyway... they have prototypes of at least five good planes (of which two have stealth capability, one is a revamp of a 1980 bomber, one can fly circles around anything US made and still crash it with a missile and one beats even the Harrier as a VTOL), none of which are being produced because neither Russia or Ukraine have enough funds.
The Comanche was a nice try, really, it's not every day someone thinks up a stealth chopper with enough rockets to wipe a small airbase.

just wait until they invent energy powerful enough for use as weapons. We'll be burning holes through stuff while most of the world is stuck with ballistics, and probably still using AK47's. Mwahahahaha
Not to burst your bubble, but that same AK47 will leave an impact hole of 7.62mm and then proceed to shatter your insides, all the while being light enough to carry around with at least 5 extra clips. Any energy weapon that comes out will be 10 kg in weight (+ backpack as a power supply), and if someone steps far away the beam won't do jack (at best, it'll burn a hair off your eyebrow

).
Particle weapons? Yeah, sure. It'll probably hit a nitrogen molecule as soon as it exists the barrel. POOF.
edited for spelling and clarificationBy the by, between the two best PDWs so far, do you think the MP-7 is better than the P90 or vice-versa?
