But they run the code on the Xbox not the PC. That's where the images come from. It was explained by one of the Bungie guys on the HBO forum.

yes, the code is written on a computer, and then via the dvd (or a direct link in the Dev cases) the code is run on the xbox, therefore you can always program something on a platform it won't run on (pc in this case) and see it in action (ala testing and such) on the dev boxes...

The Xbox version runs flawlessly on the box, (unless you exploit a flaw in the rendering...)

Heh... I dunno, actually. What I can't get over is that I don't like the hi-poly version of the MC's new armour. I like the old MJOLNIR a lot better.

Actually, it's lower poly, like most of the models in Halo 2, clever use of bumpmapping and normal mapping (much like Doom 3 in fact).

What was your problem with the race? It was quite fun I thought. One of my favourite parts of the game.

Although the time on legendary when I got blasted by the final elite 10m from the ship was somewhat annoying. I got my revenge the next time though by firing a rocket launcher at him from five metres away. Dodge this you black ops bastard

Well I just told you how to do it It's pretty easy to clear away the opposing forces with the rocket launcher and then run for it

Do actually stop and wait for FoeHammer? So I guess you've never seen the extended outro then?

No, I don't wait for foehammer. And no, I haven't seen the extended final. That's the reason I wanted to beat the game in legendary, but in the end, I decided it wasn't worth the hassle.

The 'extended' finale adds about 8 seconds. Yeah, don't worry about it.
