And trust me, those guys know what they're doing.

Ah, and those power output figures are not for the weapon effect itself (it's main effect is disruption at nuclear level, you simply can't avoid that) but for the secondary effects caused by the reaction it initiated. It can take out the Lucifer.


And it wasn't really a conscious achievment - if you read the text carefully, you'll notice that the "military" use for the Conversion Matrix was actually found by accident...

Well, yes, they didn't expected that the c-m could be so powerful, but anyway it would be surely much powerful...

About the problems, if I understood the tech things (You know, I'm italian!!! I like sciences and I know a bit o evrything, but it's enough difficult in italian!!!! In english is, if possible, harder!), the greater problem is that there could be some type of feedback effect that brigns the c-m matix reaction on the c-m itself... I imagine that that could destroy the c-m...
But i think that an ole helios in the right place (i.e. the c-m gun, into the cannon i mean) could do something good =)
