yeah i didn't like the interior of the Zonda, personally.  but i've heard it's superb at handling, and is supposed to be very comfortable

I think if you look closer, you'll notice that it's actually a red Enzo with some sort of white protection stuff applied on top of the actual car. IMO, it's a much less attractive car than the F50 or even the F40; in fact ever since the Modena, Ferraris have gotten surprisingly unattractive; witness the Porsche-wannabe front end of that dratted 612 Scagletti. Some would say that the 360 is less attractive than the F355, and I'd be leaning in that direction too. I'd take a F355, 512TR, or (dream on) 288 GTO any day over a newer ferrari.

'Course, this is all idle speculation based on styling only, so what do I know

Ick. Ferraris. No thanks.....

Sorry, Ferrari are ****e. Never liked 'em, never will. Gimme a Caterham Fireblade any day. Or a TVR Tuscan V440. Or a Bugatti Veyron.... :D

While I would prefer my DB9, I'll say - pyro - silence fool, these are _real_ cars. :p

you missed out "ly awful" there, vyper... :p Seriously, I've never understood the appeal of Ferrari (apart from people who are rich posers, or wish they were :D), considering they're fairly ugly (Labcoat's got a point - the older ones are prettier as a rule), they're ridiculously expensive, and they're painted the most disgusting, nasty, garish shade of red I think I've ever seen....

But then I like 1930s sports cars, so what can I say?

To be fair, a Ferrari at wide open throttle produces the most hair-raising shriek this side of hell itself, and it's the kind of scream that'll get even a man with a cancerous prostate to wet his pants. The whole "essence of distilled superbike" that wafts through the air from a Ferrari's rear pipes has the potential to validate it all, including the whole lack of reliability that's stigmatic of Italian supercars. Keyword there is "probably"; I won't know.

As for the 1930s: that Bugatti Atlantic? Whooaoaoao...*drool

heeey you're right!  Wow either you have a good eye for detail, or you had your resolution turned down :p  yeah it is a red enzo, i wonder why i didn't see that red bit peeking out :)

Correct. Which is why I didn't post a picture of it. FYI though, it's brand new - zero on the clock. £500000 and it's yours

you didn't post a picture of it because it's red and not white? :wtf:

it's still the most expensive car in that garage, and one of the most expensive and rarest cars in the world

i want to see pictures of it! :(

EDIT: that's not a bad price though.  that's what, around $900,000?  that sounds about right.

I didn't post it because it's wrapped up. I would have taken a shot of the interior, 'cept the winders were wound up when I got round there with me camera, and I didn't dare touch it :D

I'd go for a Zonda, myself

Although i vaguely remember a relatively cheap (note the 'relative')  kit car on Top Gear which went like **** off a shovel.....

yes, we've been through this already, but ummm thanks for posting a picture?  I assume you haven't seen the interior though, have you.  because it sucks.  however, that's not to say i wouldn't want one  :D  although i'd take an Enzo over probably any car in the world, since it's one of the rarest and most expensive cars in the world, and definately one of the most wanted.

Since we're posting pictures now, a car i've always loved is the Saleen S7

:)

also, the ultima can am, and the vector avtech.  i mean, how cool would it be to say you drive the fastest road car in the world. heh.

Ah.. I see :p

Who gives a **** about the interior, though?  ;7

Still can't remember the name of that kit car, though.......thing was something like £60k, but it was almost as fast as a Lambo when tuned.....

also, i read that the idle of the zonda is louder than a diablo at 2.5k RPMs

Zonda is a really great car but if I'm going to get a super car ill stick to a lambo or a ferrari simply because it is easier to get spare parts and support for maintiance.

i've heard the Enzo is highly unreliable, it's more for show than reliable driving.

Offline diamondgeezer

You know, I was pretty sure it's not an Enzo, and it seems I'm right - I went and had another look, and it's an F60 as I suspected
