the GTD blahblahblah......

Did I say that out loud?:nervous:

Any non-canon destroyers(GTD Raynor). But I know this thread is about canon ships so consider my action of saying anything not happened. :)

Unless you are in a fighter or bomber. The Orion's AAA defenses are terrible. If it had no fighter escort, a wing of bombers could wax an orion without much trouble.

Bombers are basically effective against any canon FS2 capitals. :p

But it's much easier to take down an Orion with bombers than it is to take down a Hecate with bombers.

I always got the impression that fs1 ships rely more on fighters to protect them against small ships than fs2 ships do. Fs1 ships have one or two kinds of turrets, fs2 ships have AAA and Flak for fighers and bombers.

I'm going to take a random stab in the dark, that you of all people would choose the Hades? ;) ;) :nervous:

Actually, why in the hell are capship beams splattered all around the hull in most FS capships? Stick big guns into the nose and maximize firepower. Like EAD Lindos.

Put a corvette behind a Lindos and the EA ship will be massacred. That's why.

The Orion....because it looks so ****ing cool. :)
Gargoyles, Season 1.  Buy it, or DIE! :)

For the purposes of the poll the hades has 4 bFgreens

The Hades took 30 minutes to kill at 4X time compression...I know which one I'd rather live on :p.

Is the Hades that long thing with the X-engine block that has a really limited field of fire?

I mean, truthfully I'd rather be in a Deimos (If I'm gonna die I'd rather die on a cool looking ship :p), otherwise a Hat or a Hec.

The Hatshepsut is one of the best looking capships in both games, when you're viewing from off its bow it looks very regal.

The Hatshepsut was only in FS2. If you're talking about the brown one with all the windows, it's the Typhon. And the Typhon does own.

I think he means between the ships in both of the games, not limiting the field to FS2.  That said, I don't see why the addition is necessary because all of the FS1 ships are in FS2 anyway.

I pick the Hades.  If you had BFGreens on all those ships, the Hades would be the strongest because it has the thickest armor.

Bah. Put GFGreen on all of the turrets on a Typhon, it'll own every capship out there, too. Just it'll die from bombing runs.
