At first I thought the site was being satirical but it looks like it's the actual scottish parliment website!

Good lord. It's legitimate alright, although whether or not the person(s) who created it are is another matter.

...wow.  Just Wow.

I guess it is true that the English language is always changing. In this case, it has broken away from english all together.

Another hundred years or so, and it'll not be recognizable... (Like English and German in the 1100's...)

I don't think that's english... seems to be the scottish dialect cause the spelling is consistent.

click the 'english sign language' below. It's text is in english
It came from outer space! What? Dunno, but it's going back on the next flight!

It's Scots.  Regional dialect.  Really it's just an extension of english with Scots pronounciation & some older words.... it is not a 'new' language, it's an old one.

wtf??

See, I knew the Irish had their own thing, but I never actually bought into the Scottish stereotypes...until now.

and why the hell is "website" written as "wabsite". Its a new word, I'm pretty sure they didn't have the Net back in the middle ages.

It's spelled that way because it's pronounced 'wAebsaIt'.

Or 'w-u-bsite' depending on where you are.
