I have a 3D model of an Arwing as well, but it's the style of the new ones, though I made it on Swift 3D, which program you used to generate that SNES alike one?

I think the Snes one was made in Truespace.

Now when you say new ones, do you mean Star Fox 64, Star Fox Adventures, or the new one coming out next year?

Because we just might have a job for you... :D

Oh and by the way...

:welcome:

I know quite a bit about the Starfox universe.  I could become your storyline consultant if you want.  =P

First of all, we all need to ignore Star Fox: Adventures.  It was a random game with "Star Fox" slapped onto it.

Second, base it more on Star Fox 64 than anything, since the original doesn't have enough depth.  The models are much better, too.

Also, I would NOT base it on the adventures of the Star Fox team.  The missions in the game are too linear.  Instead, I'd base it on someone within the Star Fox (64) universe.  There are a lot of people I know who have written fan fictions - many are done very, very well.

The person I would base it around is Bill Grey, but that's just me.  He was in charge of the base on Katina and helped the Star Fox team on both Solar and Sector X.   He's part of the Cornerian military, so a career system would be much easier, compared to the mercenary Star Fox team.
For great justice.

Sorry but the story is already (almost?) complete.  :p

What you just posted is more or less what we want to create.

Starfox: Adventures won't affect our project in any aspect.

Our plot starts right after the end of SF64.

You will probably see Bill again, but he won't be a main character of the plot.

how about high detail "rer-visions" of classic bosses ? Like that Great Commander Ship and Blade Barrier ? They were cool. Maybe it could be a side project..

I mean the really new ones on the next SF game on the gamecube.

Thanks for the welcome dudes, let me show ya, hold one some mins...

I can host the site and provide much better forums that Proboards. I have thirty gigs of space and an almost unlimited ammount of bandwith, just something to help the Star Fox community.

You can check out my site in my profile, if interested, contact me somehow (AIM, or PM).

And nice job on the mod so far!

~Redfox

EDIT: Also, if you don't have a site, the person that did the Biohazard: Survivors site does mod sites for free.

Too... many... foxes... ;)

Now then, we have web hosting... somewhere, I'm not sure where though (someone here offered or something). :p Which is funny since I'm making the site. DaBrain should be able to give you better information about that stuff.

Meh, you still need a better forum than Pro freaking boards. Oh I loathe.

Fox:  That sample's alright for an example.

Yeah, and if any of you need to ask any Star Fox related questions, http://www.sfx64.com/vbb is the place to go.

Not sure about that. But we will focus on SF64 feeling first.
Captital ships will be more important than in the other SF games.

Thanks for the offer. :)

But I can't decide a board change on my own. I'll wait for what Killfrenzy says.

Zarax offered webspace a while ago.

You probably own swift3d, huh?
A 3d flash animation. But we already got a model for the new arwing.

But we still need some enemy crafts.

I'll take a look. And you're right it's a nice example, but we aim for more detailed ship. (I know you're going for te SF1 look).

Would it be ok if I make 'em? because I dunno if Swift3D it's ok for your mod.

I could....find certain tools for you to use if you need them...

Edit:  And I could be a backup mirror or something with the FTP server set up on my computer.  o.o

That's a good idea.
I upload my stuff on swooh, which is ok most of the time. But it's really slow sometimes. That is pretty bad I I need i.e. Axem to get a file fast.

But how fast can you upload? And is your PC online (and on) all the time?

We just got two great composers, but noone is really active at modeling (well Killfrenzy IS working on something, but has not much time ATM), so yes we need a modder.

We can use almost any format. Prefered is: *.cob or *.3ds.
It would be great to have LODed models, but as the enemies are low poly anyway, it's not that important. An example of your work would be nice.

Edit: I've just started unwraping. And I'm really bad at it, so if you are able to unwrap your models, that'd be great.

Don't use me as the ONLY mirror.  It's on about 98% of the time.   The FTP service turns of before I log in, so it's only off while rebooting.

My upload?  Don't know the true number.  Last time I sent a single file I was at about 95KB/s.  o.O  I'll give you upload access if you want, I just need a username and password.
