Your just making an ass of yourself, saying that you make friends for the sake of them just being there, and that all germans suck. I dont think they do. In fact I've met 3 german people at my school and in my neighborhood, and they are very nice people and I get along with them well.

Friends from Middle School have carried over to friends in High School, and friends in High School are friends that we go volountarily see OFF school campus since he just like to hang out with each other. I could be playing games instead of going out to see them, but instead I like to spend time with them. They are my friends because I can confide in them. They are my friends because they can take jokes and laugh about it and we can stand to be around each other all the time, and we also like to hang out OFF school campus. YOUR friends, I'm guessing, have all deserted you, and therefor you think that everyone ELSES relationships with their buddies is worthless.

I live with three people I went to high school/juinor high with. We've been friends since grade seven.

Firstly, that would be a psychologist, not a friend. Secondly, that's tantamount to simply using them as emotional crutches.

For the most part, they all ****ed off to University, but I hated them all long before then.

In my opinion, no person on the face of the Earth is trustworthy. Given enough motivation, they'll sell you down the river without a second thought. And even if they don't, they'll expect something in return for not selling you out.

The only possible way my statement could be false is that it applies largely to German tourists I have encountered in Scotland, France, Belgium and (somewhat more briefly) Wales.

But you've gotta figure they would, for the most part, be indicative of the German population as a whole.
