I have Halo 2. All is good.

Firstly, Halo was overrated, but still fun as hell and it felt "right" (I don't need ammo to kill with my gun), it was even fun despite the way the weapons were ****ed up

Secondly, hype means nothing, FS/FS2=greatest games ever, under=hyped

Thirdly, Halo 2 will come out for PC and will be better

And from the review in my paper it was hinted that

well...in regards to having multiple rings, that's kind of a given as guilty spark says something along those lines "this installations purpose is to contact the other installations" etc...

I knew there were more rings but....earth and ring 05? one game? while defending earth from covenant?

so the Master Chief must leave remains of ring 04, travel to earth, defend it from an invasion then gather enough UNSC forces to assault another ring?...that's kind of...twisted

...he has to find out where the other rings are too...

Once you've read the books, played Halo 1, and played the 1st quarter of Halo 2, you'll find that all those questions have already been answered.

And yes, the books are ****ing sweet.

Well, in First Strike (Third book), the plot covers MC and Crew' going back to Earth, so I'm assuming Halo 2 starts off when they arrive in the Covy ship.

A sweeet cutscene, introducing the Elite character you sometimes play as. Then it goes to the MC. The MC and the rest are on Cairo station, a Super MAC Gunstation, and the MC is just getting fitted out. A little bit later, Johnson comes (dressed in a fancy service coat) and takes you on an lift to the main room. You engage in a little chit-chat, talk about the fifty or so Super MAC guns around Earth, and arrive to meet the admiral and recieve your decorations (medal). Oh, Keyes Daughter, Miranda, is also there, receiving the medal for her late father.
