if thats the case why in the bloody world is it tolerated when some "senior members" do that and not us overzealous newbs...
case no.2: you can't complain politely. its simply impossible
case no.3: look 2 cases up.

1/ if we greeted everyone on their xxth post, it'd just clog up the boards. you
should be greeted on your 1st post - that's the point fo the welcome beam - but not every time you log on.
2/ Any sensible campaign will ask for some proof of competence before they accept staff. If you're advertising yourself, you need to prove yourself pre-emptively; you'll have to do so regardless, might as well do so early on. If you're asking, for example, in the MT forum for a 'job', then you need to prove you're good at what you do.
3/ 1: Complaining is different from whining. Children whine, adults complain. Complaints have a factual basis and a rational statement behind them, whining usually involves blaming the world for some problem and lamenting it rather than fixing it yourself.
2: Of course you can; I do it all the time
3: In case you need to know; "don't be testy" means accept criticism, argue your case politely, but don't insult people or act like an arse towards them because they criticise you.
4/ It's clear I meant all caps as in 'all caps' as in when you are POSTING LIKE THIS. Which is basic netiquette. Whether or not you wish to follow the other rules of grammer/punctuation is up to you.
