The point is that when people start *****ing about the religious aspect of Christmas, it ruins the entire thing. I love to hear choral music around Christmas, and all the good stuff is religious. I'm not offended just because I don't believe a word of what I'm hearing-- it's beautiful, why should I care?

So what do we replace the Christians with?  Muslims?  Jews?  Hindus?  Buddhists?  If they believe strongly enough in their religion, they're going to govern that way.

Kaz: christmas isn't a government holiday. Its up to the individual person or group of people as to how they celebrate it, if it all.

Its harmless. Its ****ing harmless, so just chill out.

The problem is that you don't like any reference to any religion at any time. Instead of acknowledging all religions equally, you want society to acknowledge no religion at all, lest someone somewhere be offended.

I don't celebrate Christmas, or Kwanza or Ramadan, but I sure as hell don't see them as a threat to my rights. If people want to celebrate, fine, go ahead. Its not like anyone is forcing anything on you.
