Small (or not so small) update. I've decided to change the design somewhat around the stern. I couldn't get the engines to look right in separate nacelles, so I'm changing it to having engines at the rear of the main hull, behind the main superstructure. I'm going to put sticky-out-things on the sides instead, quite low down, with all kinds of gubbins on them. There'll be some more deck detail down the flanks, now that there's more space to fill, and plenty more sensor booms and things underneath.
As you can see from this picture, I've added a hangar to the underside of the ship. It's quite unusual, in that it's split into two by the keel, but there is a gap that you can fly through. I thought that was a pretty cool touch - you've got a big hangar, but there are two sort of launch ways, one down each side of the keel.

Also, I've put in some basic superstructure underneath the ship. It's not quite there yet IM, but I'm getting happier and happier with this model the more I do to it!
The second picture shows a left elevation of the ship as it is now. This is just to give you an idea of the new profile - please ignore the very back, as it's not done yet. I've got to add the engines to the back, hence the big missing bit. There'll also be the aforementioned "sticky-out-things" on the side, about level with the bridge tower.

Stay tuned for more updates shortly. As always, comments and critique welcome.

EDIT: note that the first pic shows the ship split in half. This is because I'm working on one half and mirroring, and I couldn't be arsed to do a proper tidied-up version for the sake of a few quick screencaps.
