It has no subsystems, except for turrets.

There were no official plans for the Centaur, although I was planning to use it in a later mission in chapter 2 or 3 :)

No subsystems?  How will it communicate with home base etc.?

Seems to work quite well without it :p

It doesn't need either. But a ship with no engine subsystem will be impossible to disable.

That's obscene...
So as through a glass, and darkly
The age long strife I see
Where I fought in many guises,
Many names, but always me.

There are only 10 types of people in the world , those that understand binary and those that don't.

It would be interesting if the Gargant were neutralized by disabling it and then blockading the system so reinforcements and repair ships couldn't arrive...

I doubt the GTVA could hold a system if the Gargant was stranded in it. The Shivans could use a lot more force to get through the blockades :)

Would be interesting disabling it inside a node...
That would put the shivans to do something original :p

  • Syndral Active. 0410.
Disable it inside the node and then send in an Excecutioner-packed destroyer to pull a Bastion and collapse the node.

That would be brillant.

Actually all superdestroyers are one of a kind except for the Odin class. So they aren't that common. The Warlock/Tanen are the most common large ship the GTVA use.

Oh, the Gargant IS able to be put down. Just give the GTVA another 200 years to improve their technology and numbers and by then, the Terrans and Vasudans would have become an advanced enough species to have their own fleets of juggernauts like the Shivans and Ancients do. It's obvious that (besides the Icanus), since the GTVA has their largest ships being super destroyers and the Shivans have numerous ships that are beyond super juggernaut and hive class, that humanity has a long way to go to catch up with the Shivans both in size and in tech.

Terrans and Vasudans are still outnumbered, out-classed, and out-gunned by better Shivan weaponry and this being the case by a long-shot. Terrans and Vasudans vs the Shivans is still like 1 against 1000 when comparing how much more nurmerous the Shivans are compared to Terrans and Vasudans.:shaking:

Yup, but in FS it is kinda implied that it is the ability to adapt that keeps humanity alive.
lol wtf
