Nexus was a great game, albeit a bit small. I always felt they forgot to add a couple combat heavy missions, where you would fight alone against waves of Gorgs.
But now we can. Thanks to a little proggie. Now i can get any ship i like, set it up any way i want, and set it against any other ships i want. Right now the program´s ship limits are set to 10 ships per side (cap ships, because fighters are a seperate issue).
So, anyone wanting to fight a few more battles in Nexus, get this little exe. Read the forum thread for aditional info.
http://www.nexusthegame.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1446 I´ve tried it already. Allthough you can´t make that many custom choices (no way to set up complex missions), you can choose ships, armament, music and locations. You can even set cinema like missions, for trailer purposes.
And since a lot of people are working on this, we can expect updates and new features for it soon.
Perhaps most of you know about this already, but i thought it was worth the thread here.
Now, if we could get an FS mod on the Nexus engine... Imagine controlling all the weapons on a fleet of Saths! Has great potential.
