I was watching the last bit of Evil Dead II I noticed that in the ending sequence the tunnel which drags the dead and the hero (Didn't  watch long enough to find out his name) into another place looks remarkably similair to subspace in FreeSpace 1, I couldn't fail to notice it, I wish I had a screenshot of it.

So find a screenshot of it online!!
Wash: This landing's gonna get pretty interesting.
Mal: Define "interesting".
Wash: *shrug* "Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die"?
Mal: This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.
