do not torment the sleep deprived artist, he may be vicious when cornered,
in case of emergency, administer caffeine to the artist,
he will become docile after that,
and less likely to stab you in the eye with a mechanical pencil

So they have the physics engine, when are they going to start making the game?

I have far more faith in Elite 4 showing up, it must take a long time to program something that huge. However, 7-8 years for a FPS is a pisstake. Unless the game is like 300 hours long or something.

Is anyone besides me overwhelmed with nostalgia when they think back to the original Duke Nukem side shooter?

Almost.

My dad got pissed when he discovered I was playing them, and either made me uninstall them or made me feel bad enough to uninstall them.

Today I play Halo. :D

I played the original Duke Nukem for PC / Winblows 3.1 on my S386X when I was about 4 years old... Man I loved that series. That and some of the games on Atari were my favorites when I was young...

Exactly! By the time the game is completed, the physics engine will be obsolete! And then they have to upgrade the engine again to keep it up to date with real world physics!
