Who cares about all of the "Why this?" and "Why that?" I've never heard of this movie before today, but now I'm very interested in seeing it as soon as it comes out.  Screw mind-teasers; I prefer mindless action and **** blowing up. :D

looks slightly better than any other movie that's come out over the last year or two.
better than the last bunch of movies the uy has put out anyway.

Looks fine to me on a 'turn brain off and watch asplosions' level. I can enjoy a mindless action film so long as it has some kinda scifi/fantasy/otherwise abnormal thingy in it. And in my opinion there's no such thing as far fetched in fiction.

Looks god-awful to me. Although the Seth-looking plane looks pretty cool.
Wash: This landing's gonna get pretty interesting.
Mal: Define "interesting".
Wash: *shrug* "Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die"?
Mal: This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.

Because sometimes the stupidity bores its way into your brain, and you have to get it out of there sometimes.  That, and these things are dangerous.

How many poor kids watched Under Siege and wanted to be Steven Seagal?!  The poor wee bastards, restricted to a life of underemoting and whispering vague sinister threats, and usually with a heavily constipated expression!
