Depends on what ship Snuffy is flying... My odds are on Alpha1 as his character shields are much superior to the Jim Henson ones Snuffy has.

Umm, hate to break it to you.  But that isn't covered in "basic" algebra.  If it is, it's toward the end of the class.  I still can't do quadratics and I've been through Algebra class a half dozen times.  Now do you see why I fear Calculus.

i never took pre-algebra, so algebra 1 was so DAMN hard.

Actually, I learned that in Alg. 1. I can bet CP would back me up on the fact that you learn quadratic formula and stuff like that early on.

Every class I've ever had starts with number theory and quadratics don't come until later.

Of course I'm a complete dunce in math.  Takes me a twice as long as twice as much space as the next most mediocre student up the scale.  The only ones who suck at math worse than I do are the mentally retarded kids who participate in Special Olympics.
