The Hades was in Silent Threat.  She is also in Fred 2.  We can use her to make a stock fs2 campaign.  Even though she wasn't in the main fs2 campaign, and had been destroyed years earlier, i think that her being fred and available for us to make new campaigns with is a good reason to have her listed under fs2 as well as ST.

yeah, i was basing that on the availibility of the ship in game, not it's actual apperance.

Someone make sure all of this has a spoiler warning.  FRED even has one if you look in the right places.

By that logic most FS1-only ships should be listed for FS2. I'm talking about ships in the stock campaign.

most fs1 ships do make an apearance in the game.  [V] only took a few out when they did fs2.  And we are talking about the availability of ships in stock fred 2.  the Apollo isn't listed in FS2 because it isn't in fred 2.

While it's nice to see all this getting written up, it's not really something that belongs in the wikipedia.

Yeah, that's what our Wiki is for.  The Wikipedia is more for general knowledge stuff.  That's not something you want turning up randomly in a search.

Vasudan designation changes from PV to GV in FS2.

Example:
PVD Hope
GVD Psamtik
"Closing the Box" - a campaign in the making :nervous:

Um...yes.

Incidentally, so does the naming conventions; Vasudan destroyers are called the 'Hope', 'Pinnacle', 'Anvil', etc in FS1 but use an egyptian naming scheme in FS2.

There's detailed articles on nearly everything for Wing Commander on Wikipedia.

Also: I am listing by whether they appear in the stock campaigns for each. The TC-Meson Bomb never actually appears in the game, so it isn't listed at all. I'm only counting ships; containers and comm nodes are not pilotable.

:wtf:  The Meson Bomb appears three times in one mission.  Nevermind that it's a critical plot element late in the game.

The TC-Meson Bomb appears? I thought it only "appeared" as the cargo of various transports.

The model appears in game, is towed by a transport, and blows up.  2 or 3 times.

TC- stands for Terran Container, like any other cargo.  The TC-Meson bomb is the hollow crate with single Mesonic warhead in the middle, for transport and positioning by a Triton-class freighter.  If you have a section on cargo, it should go there, but the Meson bomb is important.  Never intended to be a ship though.

If you are going to make a Wikipedia entry about it, yes it does.

Moreover, do some research.  For one thing, I just added an explanation about the switch from PV to GV in Vasudan ships between FS1 and FS2, because you declared the naming conventions to be the same, ignoring this very large change.  Secondly, I notice that a bunch of your ship entries report falsely about which games a ship is in.
