Never thought I'd see a post like this on this forum...caught me by surprise...

EDIT: I'd much rather that guy been an idol dressed in black, moshing, while shredding on a spiked guitar.

Um... strange to see this type of thread on this board...

Does it matter who "wins" anyway? The runner-up is bound to get a contract as soon as the contest is over.

True, but its nice to see who the people think is better.

I'm voting for Bo cause his voice has good range and hes a solid singer, and besides, rock > country.

I don't know who they are, nor do I want to. If their talents even approach the level of mediocrity seen on Pop Idol (the frankly dreadful show that spawned American Idol) and the like, then I hope they both spontaneously lose the ability to make noises with their vocal chords...

The only reasons people watch AO are:

A. The really bad singers in the search.
B. People like it when Simon Cowell humiliates a bad singer.
C. The good singers at the end.

I don't watch it myself...

Simon Cowell is a complete wanker, though.  Think about it - he's making a ****load of money, and yet has no appreciable talent whatsoever beyond being good at insulting people... and every time you watch it for that, you're encouraging him!
