oh, and i had the same issue as you did, i just bypassed the autorun altogether, and went to the CD drive and ran setup.exe

Nope, that's Tanis base, the Giant structure. Chimera is the one that gets taken down by the first wave of bombers... ;)

Hey! Why doesn't that count? I believe that a picturesque HW2 Screenshot beats a picturesque *photoshopped* screenshot hands-down...:p - anyway, i'd like to see someone beat -that-

I have learned much, much more than simply adjusting the Brightness/Contrast...



Apart from the ugly Turbolaser Blast coming off the Providence, and the Explosion looking thing in the middle of the Venerator, a rather picturesque shot...

...Edit: There we go, a rather soddy patch up job, but no more ugle Muzzleblasts & Explosion

actually, i adjusted much more than that, i used a color burn, some brush highlights, an overlay, a blurred linear dodge layer.

Really? It doesn't show all that much, i was able to recreate your image EXACTLY using only the Brightness/Contrast sliders...but then, that's the premiere tool in Photoshop anyway...or, at least, when i use it...:p

and using the serpia tones filter or whatever it's called "newspaper" is it?;)
