That's Scottish you maroon! :p

And you're the one who started this with the foolish claim that the English eat horse so stop acting as if I'm the only one making claims about the other's culture.

Technically it's not about culture but statistics; France consumes more horse meat than any other country bar Italy and is famous for it.

As for haggis; yum.  After all, it's not any worse than what goes into your average burger - it's just honest about it.  now, if it was made from horse offal, that'd be pretty bad.

EDIT; That's turnips & potatoes.  Basic food group.

Oh, and the English never successfully occupied Scotland.  The unifacation of the crowns was when a Scottish monarch took the two thrones of England and Scotland.

But Scottish != English and you started this by insulting the English.  The English don't eat haggis. If you want to insult the scots then it's up to Aldo and Vyper to defend their nations honour but you're only making a fool of yourself if you're trying to defend your claim that the French eat better than the English because we eat haggis cause we don't touch the stuff!

If he said black pudding he'd have had a point.  Then again, AFAIK the British Isles have never been regarded as culinary nations.

Exactly. Which is why I find it so funny that he's trying to defend the haggis position instead :D

BTW, I'm not sure what you need, but I just got a Zonet Bluetooth dongle (it IS fun to say, dongle! dongle! dongle!) from Newegg for $6...

Exactly what I need. :D

Have you looked at the second reviewer, though? :nervous:

Yes, it does sound dirty. An attractive girl at CompUSA is definitely a rarity. If you're thinking of making a move on her, be smooth. I have a friend that gets hit on at work all the time, but none of the guys are smooth. They are just plain and blunt, so she just blows them off...er, rejects them. Then one day, a lesbian hit on her and she was so smooth and suave, that she almost went with her. This is a skill that takes practice. It'd be best to practice on your girl friends, if you have any, but eventually, you have to go from theory to practice.

I was just thinking of maybe starting a conversation with her and ask her her number. I guess I could try seducing her in the middle of CompUSA though. :p
"Hello"
"Hi! Is there something I can help you with?"
"Ever since the day I met you I've been in love with you. My heart cries out to be the one that you call 'love'. Everything here is so hard and plastic...but you are soft and smooth. Please, give me a kiss and-OW! OW! Stop! That case is metal!"

Umm, the "different address" thing?  It's not a problem for me - they frown on my getting deliveries at work, anyway.  As far as the rebate itself, I'm not particularly worried.  I've already gotten a rebate from Zonet (for a USB2 broad) with no problem.  Besides, I trust Newegg.

:blah: What do you get all excited about? I didn't insult anybody, as far as I know, and you're taking other people comments a bit too seriously, methinks :p (and I didn't start it, Aldo did, but I didn't bite his thigh out because of it, as it was obviously a joke - and I don't think he places his nations honour on the fact scots eat haggis or not, btw :blah:-).
Sorry, I've had my fun, but I'll stop there, since you're getting on your high horses (hahaha). Don't like overexcited people, they don't make good game partners ^^

Guys, face it... French cuisine, English "cuisine" - they both pale in comparison to a good lamb schawarma in a pita, overflowing with hummus, hot spread, tomato-cuccumber salad, pickles, onions, fries, and a healthy dollop of yellow goo. YUM! :D

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill
