I like the idea of a general ship improvement contest. But, as I said, it would all have to be done on the same ship, to make it fair. This is because different ships could be improved in different ways, and so some would be better than others.
Why have everyone do the same ship? Let everyone do their own choice. If they choose a ship that isn`t much improved by the addition of lights that's their own stupid fault
If everyone does the same ship we end up with one new glowpointed ship for FS2_open. If people can choose we end up with several. Sounds like a nicer deal to me.
