I think he's wrong about global warming - not about whether or not it's affecting hurricanes, because that is still under research - but in the statment that global warming is being 'hyped up'. Particularly with the implication it's due to some form of governmental or industrial self-interest, when the opposite would seem to be true (particularly in the light of the recent climate conference).
I think one thing he says is also odd; he equates a reduction in storms during incresed greenhouse gas emissions as being some sort of evidence against a global warming impact, but surely any effect would be expected to occur after such a change (particularly using the concept of a 'tipping point'), not whilst it occurs? And also that only people who know nothing about the atmosphere (which appears to be anyone younger than their late 60s) would believe in a correlation between gases and warming, which I think is wrong.
