Nah, it was off at the time.
However, I've had two Western Digital 6.4GB drives die because the actuators crashed causing the heads to come into contact with the media. The second one was refirbished on June of 2000, yet the supposedly 3 year warranty has already expired!
Lets just say WD has most definitely lost a customer. I'll be sticking to IBM, Quantum, or Maxtor. (I had a Quantum 170MB HD that ran perfectly until my previous power supply took it out just as it died. That drive came out of my second computer and I've never had a problem with it.)
