P4 3.0, 1g DDR400, eVGA 6800G
Running VP 3.6.8, launcher 5.3 build 3/23/06 in Open GL normally 1280x1024, DLed SCP pagage 1.0 by shivan
-Run first couple times the Intro shows fine, then it's a black screen with audio
-run in 1024x768 the the load time from splash to intro is very long
-entered fps command line in custom flags, fps shows fine, delete from command line, fps won't go away
-no flak explosion sound
-i get better performance at 1280x1024 over 1024x768?? but i can't go down to 1024 when gameplay gets rough, playing derelict
They're not that much of a problem, I've gone up to mission Iron Curtain and have enjoyed the campaign very much.
I'm curious, does anyone have a similar system? If so, how's performance? I think my computer might be a bit screwed up.
btw how many polys is the HTL Orion, HTL lucifer, HTL Perseus, HTL Herc?
