Re: TBP - Core Releases & problems with installation
I think I used the torrent for 3.2 waaay back when it was first released and got it without a problem.  I guess things are a bit more difficult now?

Re: TBP - Core Releases & problems with installati
I haven't downloaded or installed 3.3 or 3.3a, but it shouldn't be difficult as long as the installers were made by following examples I left before leaving the team. If you used a similar system but not NSIS, then that's fine too but it isn't more difficult than before, right?

I'm gonna obstain from voting, since I put the 3.3a patch together.  It would kinda defeat the point.

Yeah but have you ever tried installing it :snipe:

I was joking. I didn't have any problems with it. Exept that the installer had a "creative pause" and I thought the pos crashed, I was just about to close it when it woke up and started working again.

Well, the actual installers always have that period of apparent inactivity.  The patch was a simple .rar file so I assume you're not talking about that.

Re: TBP - Core Releases & problems with installation
I had no problems with 3.3 nor 3.3a patch.....
The real problem, however was the installation of 3.2 itself, the launcher just gave that ever annoying error message:

Error Decompressing Data! Corrupted Installer?

In time, and after stupendous amount of tries, I managed to install it just fine....
But as for the 3.3 and 3.3a, no problems.

Re: TBP - Core Releases & problems with installation
Well I cant believe only 10 people have voted, it would appear those of us who are quite well versed in the installation and file system of tbp do not have much trouble, while the newbies are having some major problems.  To get a better idea of this I would have preffered for a lot more newbies o vote.  I will close this poll at the end of this month (may) :)  Thanks to those who voted and replied :) :)
