I do have this mental image of Sony and Microsoft holding hands, flinging Nintendo waaay in front of them as a result of their bickering,

Sony and MS keep saying the Wii is in a completely different sector of gaming, and while this may be true, to say that that reason alone will keep them from losing any sales seems a little like wishful thinking to me.
