Speaking of things being cyclic, I've seen the same thing time and again over at Lancers Reactor and TA Universe, other sites that I'm involved in.

There's always something that brings somebody back though.

As for me, I'm glad to be right here. Something new, new directions to go into......and plenty of small models that nobody's HTL'd yet.

It's a natural cycle of things, some Modders will die down for a while, like me or Raa, others will rise to fill the gap, like Scooby Doo, and you'll always have people like Vasudan Admiral lurking in the background and making some of the most incredible 3D models I've ever seen outside of commercial movies.

Lightspeed was GREAT at what he did and made this game better.  Whatever happened doesn't matter but I'll always remember his contributions and boy did he ever contribute!

hehehe Yeah, I liked him, a bit of a pixel-nazi, but then, we needed a perfectionist else the re-textures wouldn't have been nearly as good

I'll say what I said in the art forum. He left because he had other things in his life that were more important. About a year ago, I had to make a choice between working on TI or something else, and it wasn't really a choice in reality, that's why TI is on hold-ish atm. There was no drama or anything about it.

He simply had better/more important things to do than make textures for a 5-year old game, I respect that and hope that he's enjoying whatever he's doing these days
