Alright, calm down, seriously. You do not own Kara. Yes, we know Kara is a girl's name, but since everyone here knows we're referring to Karajorma, it doesn't take on the connotations of a female, now does it?

If Kaj/Kara means something offensive or wrong in Italian, fine, don't use it then. In English, they're all acceptable versions of karajorma's name, at least according to kara himself.
